May 2008 found twenty-six Spiritual Response Therapy practitioners, consultants and teachers together at a hotel near Heathrow Airport, attending a two-day Self-Mastery workshop run by Pamela Murray, a Spiritual Response Association Board member and minister.

The course is part of the SRA's continuing education programme aimed at helping practitioners with their personal growrth and self-development.  In fact, successful completion of Self-Mastery Level I now forms part of the accreditation requirements for all consultants and teachers.  The SRA is keen that their practitioners continue learning about themselves, gathering more spiritual insight, thus enabling them to help themselves and to ensure that they are better equipped to help others.

The course was not a dry, boring, classroom-based, self-help type of workshop - far from it!  Pamela's way of teaching was gentle, warm, hands-on and everyone participated fully in the work, in the meditations and in creating new and better affirmations towards their future goals.  As the group progressed through the two days, the energy, love and joy created in the workshop was almost overwhelming.  Much laughter, a few tears of release or joy, or both.  Just as we were fully present, so was Spirit, and we gained a great deal of strength, understanding, awareness and a feeling of ever-expanding love as we worked together with our High Selves - all of us basking joyfully together in the Golden Light of Spirit.

The group now has three-months' worth of mentored work to go through, as each participant works on his/her own specific goals.  This work establishes our commitment to ourselves, to our fellow pracitioners, to the SRA, and to all those whose lives we touch as we continue to work with Spiritual Response Therapy.

During the workshop, one of our practitioners was able to share a message for Robert Detzler (the founder of SRT) which she had channeled from Jesus.  Robert had verified that both her source and her message were "infinitely accurate".  The message thanked Robert for bringing SRT to the world and for devising a method that deals so effectively and gently with past life energies - something that is most often skirted over in mainstream religion.  Our work now holds even greater import for all on the Earth and has been truly blessed by the Christ who says that it is a vital component in helping every soul move forward towards its return to God/Source.

For those of you who practice a different religion, please be aware that we see Jesus as one of the many great Ascended Masters.  When we talk about Him, we are speaking of the energy of unconditional LOVE.  Just like LOVE, SRT is totally non-denominational and non-discriminatory.  Our mission is to bring greater awareness, understanding, peace, harmony and love to all on Earth, and to use SRT to clear negative energies and programming.
